You may upload documents of any type for secure sharing with the project participants. Yet, only the file types below can be converted by the system into protected versions for viewing online.
Conversion to PDF
The following file types are converted into encrypted PDF for secure viewing online or downloading in PDF.

We’re constantly adding new supported file formats. Files uploaded before a format was added won’t be converted to PDF automatically, so re-upload existing files to open them in the viewer.
Video files
Supported video formats are automatically converted for secure in-platform viewing, allowing you to watch videos directly in Ideals VDR with the built-in player. Videos are also protected with watermarks, if enabled, for an added layer of security.
They can also be downloaded from the project in the original format.

Other file types
Documents of other types are not supported and cannot be securely viewed online. The only permission levels available for such files are No access, Original, or Manage.
ZIP, 7z, or RAR archives can be uploaded and shared with project participants, but they are not supported for online viewing, and it is recommended to extract documents from them.
