The mobile app offers a secure solution for confidential document sharing, empowering users to stay connected and manage projects on the go. Whether you're in the office, traveling, or working remotely, the mobile VDR provides flexibility and industry-leading security, ensuring seamless access to your project anytime, anywhere.
Downloading the app
You can download the Ideals Virtual Data Room mobile app from the following platforms:
Apple App Store: Visit the Apple App Store on your iOS device.
Google Play Store: Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Features of the mobile application
Project list
Users will find a list of projects with Search functionality and their listed Favorites. From here, users can also create new projects within their existed or new subscription.
Dashboard
Project dashboard provides a quick overview of the key project activity. Users can view the activity on documents, participants, and Q&A (if enabled.)
Documents
Within Documents, users can manage and share files effortlessly. The following functionalities are available:
Upload, view, get document summary, download, view activity log, copy, delete, move, rename, create folder, search, filter, add to favorites, add labels, copy link to the document and send document notifications
Three bulk actions: move, copy, and delete
Notes: add, edit, delete, and see all notes
In the Documents tab, a Quick access menu is available to quickly access the following:

Q&A attachments
Due diligence checklist
Users can view and upload due diligence checklists via an app, but editing is available only via desktop.
Participants
Within Participants, users can view and manage groups and participants of the project. The following functionalities are available:
Add participants
Resend invitation
Move to group
Deactivate
Activate
Delete
Search
Questions and Answers (Q&A)
With Q&A, the mobile app functionality gives access to:
Questions list: this provides all questions with general sorting options and a Search function
Question details: open each query in read-only mode. The navigation in the top right of the feature allows users to skip to the next/previous in the list
Key info: it's not possible to answer Q&A queries in the mobile app
Reports
Create reports, identify trends, and gain valuable insights to effectively manage your project's progress. Admins can access the following reports on the mobile device:
Activity log
Documents overview
Engagement matrix
Data storage
Permissions log
Subscribe and Export to Excel actions are only available via desktop. However, admins can create reports as normal and email to participants within the project.
💡Admins can still set up a Data limit notification either via the Data storage report or the personal Settings as standard.
Settings
Amend personal and project settings.
Personal: access notification settings for Q&A, documents, and storage.
Project: access settings for the project, including General, Branding, Documents, Labels, Terms of use, Watermarks, Security, and AI tools.
💡In the General tab, users can also rename their projects or change project status directly from a mobile app.
Project archiving
Close your projects from your handset as soon as required. Once closed, we will send a confirmation email to administrators. You can also create an online archive of your project directly via an app.
💡 To order USB drives or create downloadable archives, admins need to sign in via desktop. However, any archive orders will be visible in the application.
Recycle bin
The Recycle bin is included to enable sight of deleted files/folders. The standard functionalities of Search, Restore, and Delete items are available.
Corporate account
All corporate account features are available on the mobile app.

Admins can create new projects, add/remove participants, track data storage and usage trends, billing, and amend default project settings.
Video files cannot be viewed online on Android and iOS in the mobile application. They can only be downloaded in the original format if the user has sufficient permissions to download them.
