Similar questions uses AI to detect when a question in your Q&A thread is the same as, or closely related to, a question that's already been asked in the project. When a match is found, you can see how it was answered and reuse that answer instead of writing a new one — useful when several buyer teams end up asking the same or overlapping questions during a deal.

Enabling Similar questions
Similar questions must be turned on by a project administrator before Answer coordinators can use it.
1. Go to Settings → Project → AI tools.
2. Turn on AI tools, if it isn't already on.
3. Turn on the toggle next to Similar questions in Q&A.

ℹ️ Only users with the Answer coordinator role in Q&A can see Similar questions suggestions.
Reviewing similar questions in a thread
1. Go to Q&A and select a question thread.
2. If the system finds related questions, the Similar questions panel opens automatically above the answer field.
3. Click the N similar questions found banner to expand the panel and view the suggestions.
4. Review each suggested question. If a suggestion already has an answer, the answer is shown underneath it.
5. Select the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icon on a suggestion to indicate whether it's relevant.
6. Click Copy answer to reuse an existing answer. The answer text and any attachments are copied into the answer field for the current question.
7. Hover over a suggested question's subject and click the Open in new window icon to view the full thread in a separate browser tab.
💡 If a similar question has attachments, they're shown in the suggestion panel too, so you can check the supporting files before reusing an answer.
If the system doesn't find any related questions, the Similar questions panel doesn't appear, and you can go ahead and answer the question as usual.
When Similar questions appear
Similar questions are only surfaced for questions in statuses where an Answer coordinator is expected to work on the answer:
Assigned
Proposed
Answered
Rejected
They aren't shown for questions in statuses where no further action from the coordinator is expected, such as Closed or To approve.
