Deletion is available depending on the question status and Q&A role.
Question side
Users with the Question submitter role can delete proposed questions. Only questions in the status Question drafted can be deleted. To do so:
Select one or more questions on the right-side panel.
Click the Delete button in the top menu.
Optionally, leave a comment with the reason for deletion.
Confirm the action.
If your team members have instant Q&A notifications enabled, they will receive an email with your comment. Upon deletion, proposed questions cannot be restored or viewed by any Q&A participant.
Questions submitted to the answer side can be deleted only by the Answer coordinator.
Answer side
Users with the Answer coordinator role can delete submitted question threads and FAQ if needed. To do this:
Select one or more questions on the right-side panel.
Click the Delete button in the top menu.
Confirm the action.
Once deleted, the question thread is no longer available to any Q&A participant, including answer coordinators.
If there are documents attached to the question thread, they will be removed from the Q&A attachments folder and moved to the recycle bin.
⚠️ Deleted questions cannot be restored, and their content is unavailable in the reports or exported Q&A discussions. Hence, please pay extra attention to the selected questions for deletion.
