Deletion is available depending on the question status and Q&A role.
Question side
Question submitters can delete drafted and submitted questions in case they need to make changes.
Delete from the list
Select one or more questions from the list.
Click the Delete button in the top menu.
Confirm the action.
Delete from the thread
Open the question you want to delete.
Click the Bin icon in the lower-right corner of the thread.
Confirm the action.
For the questions in the Submitted status, only the most recently submitted question in the thread can be deleted.
Deletion behavior depends on the type of question:
If the first question in a thread is deleted, the entire thread is removed.
If a follow-up question is deleted, only that follow-up is removed, the thread remains open, and its status updates accordingly.
If your team members have instant Q&A notifications enabled, they will receive an email with your comment. Upon deletion, draft questions cannot be restored or viewed by any Q&A participant.
Questions submitted to the answer side can be deleted only by the Answer coordinator.
Answer side
Users with the Answer coordinator role can delete submitted question threads and FAQ if needed. To do this:
Select one or more questions on the right-side panel.
Click the Delete button in the top menu.
Confirm the action.
Once deleted, the question thread is no longer available to any Q&A participant, including answer coordinators.
If there are documents attached to the question thread, they will be removed from the Q&A attachments folder and moved to the recycle bin.
⚠️ Deleted questions cannot be restored, and their content is unavailable in the reports or exported Q&A discussions. Hence, please pay extra attention to the selected questions for deletion.
