What to do if emails cannot be delivered; possible corporate restrictions

Delivery of invitation emails to the data room users is one of the most critical points for the workflow. In the Users tab, you’ll find several options that help project administrators control invitation deliveries and logins:

  • You can check the list of users in the Users tab, namely the Last signed in column. In case there is no date – this user has not logged into the project so far.

  • In case users have not logged into the project, admins may resend the invitation to them from the VDR.

The Resend invitation email option automatically alternates mail sender that increases the chances of the email delivery.

To resend an invitation, toggle the target user(s) in the list, right-click on any of the selected users and use the corresponding option in the drop-down menu.

This option is also available on the right-hand panel when a single user is chosen.

  • If you mistyped a user’s email or the email itself is incorrect or is no longer valid, it will be highlighted in red. In this case, the project administrators receive automatic email notifications containing the emails of the users and the names of projects they participate in with explicit instructions on how to handle it.

In addition, project administrators can request the Support Team to change the email label value to include their company name, administrator's name, or any custom value for invitation letters.

In case the recipient still has not received the invitation we recommend:

  • To check the spam (junk) box.

  • To add @idealsvdr.com domain and our IP address 198.2.186.123 to the white list to override possible corporate or mailbox restrictions.
