Grouping search results

You can select two different options using the grouping dropdown menu in the top right corner of the results panel. Group by match gathers these specific results by the exact state of the search result. This allows users to get, more specific with their queries and flick between the results effortlessly.

Expanding search results

You can select options for expanding and collapsing results, with automatic actions also selectable) making the search results more streamlined for review.

Excel viewer search

For Excel viewer search the behavior is almost identical with a few small caveats. When search mode is initiated the user has three main filters:

  • Sheet – searches the active sheet

  • Range – searches the range selected by the user

  • Book – searches the entire Excel file

The sheet and range modes do not have grouping, and the results are listed. The Book mode has grouping by sheets by default and no regrouping is possible.
