Corporate account: Project attributes

Standardize project information across your organization with custom project attributes

Project attributes give corporate account owners and managers the flexibility to organize and manage projects more effectively across their organization. With this feature, you can create custom fields that capture key details such as region, contract number, or responsible department – helping teams categorize projects consistently and find information faster. Designed to support multi-project management, attributes enhance visibility and improve coordination.

Creating attributes

Attributes can be created by corporate account owners and managers in their corporate accounts. Navigate to the left-side panel to access the respective corporate account.

In the corporate account, go to the Projects tab – Attributes, and click Create new attribute to get started.

In the appeared modal, fill out the following fields:

  • Name: enter the attribute name.

  • Type:

    • List: dropdown with predefined values.

    • Text: free text input.

    • Date: date picker field.

    • Number: input field for number only.

  • Description: optionally, provide any additional information to elaborate on the attribute's purpose or requirements for filling it out.

  • Optionally, check the box to make the attribute a Required field for new projects.

Once you finish, click Create to activate the attribute.

Managing attributes

All created attributes appear in the list, where you can review, edit, and delete them at any time.

You can also drag and drop attributes in the table to change the order of appearance when assigning them to projects.

Assigning attributes

Once the attributes are created in the corporate account, users with respective roles will be able to assign them. Assigning and/or updating attributes is possible:

  • When a new project is created.

  • Within the projects list in the corporate account.

  • Through the General settings of the project.

New project

Upon creating a project linked to the corporate account with predefined attributes, users will see all attribute fields on the new project form. If the attribute is set as required, they will not be able to create a project without filling it out.

Existing projects

Depending on the access to the corporate account or a specific project, attributes can be assigned or updated either in the corporate account or in the general settings of the project.

Via corporate account

Corporate account participants can quickly go through all projects and assign respective attributes right from the corporate account under the Projects tab – List.

In the project list, each attribute has a dedicated column where you can add and edit attributes for respective projects.

💡 If the attribute is required, you cannot clear its value.

Via project settings

Project administrators will also be able to add and/or update attributes in the general settings of their project. Navigate to the Attributes section below the project’s info and click Edit. In the appeared modal, adjust attribute values as needed and click Save.
